This Blog was created as part of my Masters of Teaching degree in particular in relation to the course “Effective Teaching for Professional Practice”. Its purpose is to reflect upon my personal experiences from my day-a-week school visits and demonstrate my professional knowledge, practice and commitment to teaching.
It also represents the first step of a “Digital Immigrant” towards embracing ICT and integrating it into the classroom to enhance student engagement and learning (Prensky, 2001). 21th century students, also aptly referred to as “Digital Natives” should only be taught by “Digital Immigrants” who possess a thorough knowledge of 21th century technologies! (Prensky, 2001). I think I am on my best way to immerse myself into the world of “Digital Natives”. Find out yourself by viewing my blog!

As is commonly agreed upon, the practice of reflection is an invaluable and indispensable tool for successful teachers. Here is an interesting video I found about "the practice of reflection". Unfortunately enough, I was not able to upload the video on this page. However, you can view it on the bottom of the home page.
